This week we will finish our class reading of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'. What a great book. Never have I seen so many children get so hungry in such a short space of time all at once. To tell the truth, I was getting quite hungry reading it! So what delights have you all invented for Mr Wonka? Let's find out... |

| I'm
in Mr Willy Wonka's sweet factory. I am going to make a "rainbow sweet! It is special because it is 5 different colours and the colours are all flavoured too. I have also decorated it with chocolate buttons. It's going to be so yummy. When any child eats it, their whole body turns into a rainbow and the chocolate buttons shoot out the child's ears. The child stays like a rainbow for an hour. That child could be my brother for revenge. Let's just hope the chocolate buttons don't hit the dog! (from Shaun - Year 3) |

Are you drooling yet? Do you think that all these people have had a sneaky look inside Mr Wonka's sweet factory and stolen some of his secrets? Surely they couldn't have come up with all of these ideas all by themselves...? Wouldn't it be great if you could have a perfectly healthy diet by only eating sweets? (You can't at the moment by the way - so don't get ideas!) My ideal meal would be made of liquorice allsorts, jelly beans and jelly tots. Mmmmm..... What would yours be? |
