Every month meetings were held to discuss how the project was progressing. Here, the informants who were able to attend put forward their point of view to Carlos (left), who then confirmed the next step. All meetings were in spoken Maya, which then were translated as a brief summary to me in Spanish via Carlos. What I had to say was translated into Maya so all the informants could understand fully what was said.
