Bursting With Colour

It's been a couple of months since the last entry, but that doesn't mean the garden has not done anything in this time. Rainbows of colours have been and gone - the Oxslips, the Rhodedendron flowers, the numerous flowering bulbs and annuals that have already finished their short life. A lot of this can be found in lasy year's diary. But as you can see, the garden of Mr S. is still bursting with colour.

Planted At Last!

Mr S. does not miss an opportunity to brighten up his garden. He used some of the plants left over from the May Fayre in his flower beds. The rest of the plants left over went to brighten up the Key Stage 1 area. Here, some of the Geraniums brought in by Mrs I. are settling in nicely and getting ready to flower.

Do You See Red?

These Poppies are a very stunning part of Mr S.'s garden. They are a lot bigger than the poppies you see in the fields, the ones we use for Remembrance Day in November.

Careful It Doesn't Bite!

Another stunning part of Mr S's garden is the variety of colours his Snap-Dragons have. They're called Snap-Dragons because you can pick a flower and move it so it looks like a Chinese Dragon's mouth opening and closing. Mr S. has done a huge amount of hard work on his garden over the past couple of years to make it look better. However, Mr S. could relax for these flowers, as they just appeared by themselves and grew quite happily without any help.

Sugar Royalty?

I remember these flowers from my childhood as everyone had them, and they seem to be just as popular today. You can always rely on Sweet Williams to brighten up your garden.

There were a number of animals and insects seen in the garden, but that will take a patient day with a camera in Mr S.'s garden to tell their story...
