The Veg Patch

24th January 2007

Up The Garden Path

After a very warm January, a brief cold spell has come and allowed snow to fall. I had to get out quick and take the photographs, because the snow was melting fast, even at this early time in the morning.

The Silent Garden

The Garden lies dormant once more. It had to survive by itself for the last part of the year, as the school was a busy place and Mr C was working hard. However, this year we hope to have an after school club. Already willing volunteers have been asking me about it.

Something Is Missing

The Mini-Garden Hippo has been enjoying his time in the garden without the interference of 'big-'uns' coming in and disturbing the peace. We're not too sure where the hippo is at this present moment though...

No Time To Rest

January has still a week to go, yet the plants are growing at a fast pace already. I heard that some Daffodils were flowering in the south of England last month! Have these plants never heard of having a rest?
